Blooming Suspicion - Demo
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Investigate, solve mysteries, and maybe even fall in love in Blooming Suspicion — a witchy
visual novel set in modern Seoul with a magical twist.
Use your abilities as a techno-witch along with the help of your familiar, Sagwa, to look for clues, question suspects, and piece together the truth of what is really going on in an unassuming plant shop on the side streets of Seoul.
But beware — in your quest for truth, you may uncover more than you bargained for. Can love bloom alongside suspicion?
Name your character and choose your character’s pronouns. Choose from a list of pronouns or add your own custom pronouns!
Gather clues and examine the beautiful surroundings with point-and-click investigation scenes.
Forge friendships or pursue something a bit more romantic with three unique characters. Romance in this game is optional, and players who do not desire a romantic connection may choose to follow equally satisfying friendship routes.
A fellow techno-witch, Haneul’s knack for problem-solving and resolving disputes keeps the tech in the plant shop running smoothly.
In spite of their standoffish demeanor and penchant for silence, the care they show in handling tech may hint at something softer beneath the surface.
A plant-witch with an uncanny ability to bend plants to her will, Hayun is uniquely gifted in creating the terrariums that the plant shop has become known for. Often described by others as aloof or even cold, it may seem odd that the plants reach out to her as though they are reaching toward the warmth of sunlight.
Known for his magnetic aura, this water-witch captivates audiences and classmates alike. When Yoonsu is not performing his magic show at Han River Park, he uses his craft to care for the plant shop’s magical plants. With his easy smile and charming nature, it’s no wonder so many are drawn to him.
- Sagwa (it/its) — the MC’s smart-phone and familiar
- Minji (she/her) — an older sibling-type character that the MC has known since childhood; though not a plant-witch herself, she operates a plant shop that employs several witches
- Plant (it/its) — a strange plant that may know more than it’s letting on

Hey, I just finished the game!
It looks so damn professional! The graphics, the music, the storytelling. All are so polished. Really enjoyable to simply took at. Also the notebook and the phone were very nice touches. I like how many things ware clickable.
The romance was just sprinkled here and there which I appreciate. It wasn't taking the spotlight instead of the main stories. Also, Minji is adorable, I love her and I want more of her.
That's the definition of a cosy game, honestly. It was enjoyable experience.
We're really happy that you liked our demo and also loved Minji, she is one of our favorite characters to write! Thank you so much for your kind comment!
Very promising game! I love the characters so far - especially the technological ones. I'll be on the look out for the full game!
Thank you so much!
Blooming Suspicion is a heartfelt experience that truly stands out thanks to its charming art design, music, and immersive story. While I'm typically not drawn to story-heavy games, this one managed to pull me in from the start, and I found myself reluctant to stop playing. The emotional connection that the game fosters with its characters and world is impressive.
The harmony between the backgrounds and the overall story is one of the things I enjoyed the most. The art style perfectly complements the tone of the narrative, enhancing the sense of immersion. Overall, I think the demo shows great promise, and I’m excited to see how the full game will expand on this captivating experience.
Thank you so much for your comment! It's great to hear that the story could pull you in!
What a great demo! I enjoyed the initial mini-mystery and am intrigued by the larger mystery that’s still unfolding. I love the world building and really, really enjoy talking to tech in the game. Looking forward to the full release! :D
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! It made our day! We were really excited to bring the idea of techno-craft to life and we are so happy that you enjoyed it! 🪴
If Haneul IS guilty it just means I made the right choice in my romantic decisions.
